If you are planning an excursion around Agadir or Taghazout, you absolutely have to book with Azul Excursions and ask for Jorfi! He made our entire day trip completely unforgettable. Jorfi is an exceptional guide—incredibly professional, friendly, and full of great energy. From the moment he picked us up, he made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. His passion for the region and its culture shines through everything he does, and he took the time to share fascinating stories about the local Amazigh traditions while making sure everyone in the group was having a great time. The itinerary was perfect, from hiking the stunning trails of Paradise Valley to experiencing the coastal sand dunes. But what truly made the day special was Jorfi’s hospitality and attention to detail. He knows the best spots, guides you safely, and brings an authentic, joyful vibe to the whole experience. The transport was smooth, the organization was flawless, and the homemade Berber lunch was delicious. Thank you, Jorfi, for showing us the true beauty of the region and for being such an amazing host. 10/10 highly recommend—we will definitely book with him again next time!

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my experience with Mohamed. He is a wonderful person with a genuine passion for his work, and that passion naturally reaches his clients. You get to experience every moment to the fullest. The only unfortunate thing is that it eventually comes to an end, because everything is simply beautiful, well thought out, and exactly as it should be. ✨ Thank you 🙏

Hidden paths trek in Paradise Valley. This was an amazing trip. We were the only ones on the hike. We were picked up at our agreed time and were able to chose our own pick up time. We were picked up in a private taxi. The drive in itself to the start of our hike was beautiful. Our guide was lovely. A local who spoke great English and was so knowledgeable about anything we asked him. He chatted with us the whole way giving us all kinds of interesting information. Such a nice man. As this was a hidden paths trek there were no other tourists what so ever. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only things we could hear were the frogs and birds. Hiking through olive groves, rivers, secret pools and palm trees was amazing. We stopped for tea in a beautiful valley next to some deep pools where you can jump in and swim. You'll more than likely be the only people there. From there to a Berber family house where they cooked us lunch and let us have a look around their home. This was such a special experience and the family were so friendly. This trip was the highlight of our entire holiday and I will most definitely be booking other trips with this company if I return to the area. They ask for no money for the trip upfront. You pay at the end of your trip. 100% recommended

Azul Excursion exceeded every expectation. From pickup in Marrakesh to the summit, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Mohammed was incredibly knowledgeable about Berber culture, flora, and trail safety. The pace was great for our mixed group, lunch was delicious, and they even timed our hike for the best light for photos. Authentic, safe, and absolutely unforgettable. 10/10 — worth every dirham.

Everyone who thinks to book this experience with Azul excursions won’t be disappointed, because it is something what you can’t do on your own. Experienced local Berber guide Jorfi and taxi driver were very helpful from beginning to end of our trip with all our questions answered very professionally, clearly and politely. We had enough time not only for hiking along Paradise Valley, but also for diving, for special Moroccan tea after diving and even fish pedicure. On the end of our trip we had an opportunity to visit local Berber family and enjoy tajine food made by them and talk about their life and traditions. Having such a wonderful day, our group of 4 booked same guide Jorfi for next day sand boarding experience. Another great day ! After such an amazing half day in sand dunes, he organised snacks and tea while we waited for sunset on the top on sand hill. I recommend this absolutely professional guide Jorfi from Azul excursions without any doubt!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Paradise Valley Agadir suitable for children and beginners?

Yes. This is our easiest day trip: about 10 km of walking with only 350 m of ascent, spread over 6 hours with plenty of stops along the way.

Paradise Valley hiking suits families with children from age 7, and no previous experience is needed. We walk at the pace of the slowest person in the group, not the fastest.

Can we swim, and are the pools full all year?

Swimming is the highlight of the day, so bring a swimsuit and a towel. The pools are deepest from late winter through spring, after the rains.

At the end of a long dry summer the water can be lower in places. Your guide knows the valley and will take you to the best pool on the day rather than the busiest one.

Is hotel pickup included, and where do you collect from?

Yes — pickup and drop-off are included at no extra cost from Agadir, Taghazout and Tamraght. We collect you at your hotel, riad or apartment at 9:00 am and bring you back in the afternoon.

If you are staying outside these areas, send us your address on WhatsApp and we will tell you whether we can reach you.

What is included in the price, and what should I bring?

The price of €50 per person covers your local Amazigh guide, hotel pickup and drop-off, drinking water, mint tea and a homemade lunch with a Berber family. Groups of six or more pay €45 per person.

Bring a swimsuit, a towel, comfortable walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen. There is nothing to pay in advance.

How is this different from the big bus tours to Paradise Valley?

Bus tours drop fifty people at the same roadside pool for an hour. We walk into Paradise Valley Agadir on foot, with a maximum of 17 people, following trails through the argan forest and palm groves.

Lunch is in a family home rather than a tourist restaurant. You see the quiet part of the valley, not the car park.
